Though anxiety has become a largely universal experience during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Dennis-Tiwary says it’s still misunderstood—and in need of a mindset shift. Rather than a bug or malfunction, she argues that anxiety is a useful and even transformative human feature that can help us create, innovate, and find meaning.
