Imagine if we all just embraced our anxiety rather than trying to seek to eradicate it. Tracy Dennis-Tiwary is a professor of psychology and neuroscience at Hunter College, the City University of New York, where she directs the Emotion Regulation Lab. Her book is “Future Tense: Why Anxiety Is Good For You (Even Though It Feels Bad).”
